What Products Should Be Used For Your Hair?

Lather, Rinse, Repeat! We all know the ancient saying referring to the hair-washing and shampooing process but does it actually work? And what about conditioners, treatments, styling products? Then there are the hundreds of brands out there that claim to make your hair fuller and glossier just like the models in Cosmo and Vogue!

The real recipe is a lot simpler than you think: for most hair types and conditions all you need for better looking, healthier hair is a good Shampoo, Conditioner and Styling product! That's it, it really is as simple as that; think of it as Bathe, Treat and Texturise.

So now you've decided to throw away all those products that were used once when they promised outstanding results, but when they didn't they were discarded and left to gather dust - what do you replace them with?

Kerastase's collection of hair products are categorised so that you can formulate a hair care programme tailored to your hair type without much fuss.

Kerastase has been formulating high-quality, innovative products since 1964 when Recherche Avancee L'Oreal selected its most advanced technology for the Kerastase Collection. All Kerastase products are innovative, and include advanced ingredients in unique formulations and, most importantly, are products that women aspire to for the care and enhancement of the natural beauty of their hair.

Celebrity fans of Kerastase include Blake Lively (Gossip Girl), Nicole Richie, Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives), Jennifer Anniston and Kate Winslet to name a few.

The colour coordinated lids and bottles, not only look glamorous in your bathroom cabinet, but they help to ensure you use the best products for you. Each range has a colour and within each of the ranges there is a Bathe product, known as 'Bain', Treat product known as a 'Masque' or 'Lait' followed by a texturising product such as a mousse, serum or cream that is suited to your hair type. Multiple texturising products can be used to create a variety of styles, but for daily use you should pick one that suits your hair style and needs.

There are six main ranges each with their own colour co-ordinated bottles and lids:

Nutritive (Orange) - Provides personalised nourishment for dry, sensitised hair
Resistance (Green) - Strengthens weakened, damaged or fine hair
Reflection (Pink) - Protects and maintains the long-lasting radiance of coloured hair
